Duration After Passports Request

Dear All,
I have a Question, Regarding London Visa Office, for Pakistani National Applicants residing in UK.

Once Passport request is received from London Office to send the passports to them by post or in person, maximum how many days they allow to provide them the passports? The reason I am asking if the passports are not available due to the passports sent to UK home office for the UK visa extension purpose which can take up to 2 months or more, so in that situation, what else can be told to to Canadian visa office if the passports are not available?

Just tell them that u have sent ur passport to home office for visa extension and u will send them as u get them back.but the problem is that canada visa will be issued considering expiry of ur medicals.i will advise you to just send an email to visa officer processing ur canadian immigration application,tell them the situation and seek their instructions.

Medicals are done in the Month of Jan 2014, so Can I Consider that Till next year Jan, I should be Ok to get the the PR initial Stamp on passports?
