Hi All.... especially to Captain Qorax, Mr. Biju and all the Seniors & Juiors!!!

I am an applicant under old scheme. Received my file number in Jan-2008 and since that time there is no news...
I want some motivation from everyone because its been long time since we (applicants under old scheme) are waiting. Its been more than 42 months that we are waiting. In letter where our file number was mentioned, it was written that it will take 42 to 48 months to process our case. But last month I received an email from my consultant in which the consultant mentioned one meeting held at Canadian Embassy (situated in Abu Dhabi). In that meeting, the consultants were told that the applicants under old scheme will have to wait longer than 42 to 48 months because of some constraints in their processes.
Please share with me if there is any news about that and how much time more it will take so I can be with u guys in Canada. Because till now, what I have with me, is the document in which my file number was mentioned. After that there is no further correspondence and my case status online is "In process - we have received your application in January 2008".

Secondly, pre-MI1 cases take about 48-60 months to complete the process. The earliest one did was 42 months.
Thirdly, this yr u could be hearing from them... possibly with the Meds.

Relax, go about your usual chores & pray... one fine day u'd have your 'call'.
