Dubai and its debts problem and Canadian PR

Good afternoon friends , wish you can help me , I really need your urgent advise . I left Dubai in 2012 without resigning from my ex employer and got credit cards and loan . The issue now that i am immigrating to Canada and they will ask me soon for Dubai police clearance . I am trying my best to get all the money together and pay banks back but i didn't get the possiblity to reach the ammount they want , they did add to it a lot of extra fees since I left the country.. Sad my question is : Do Canada still can refuse my request because of that ?Is it a crime regarding canadian law ? I still got emails of negociation with anks and all which show my good intention to resolve the issue.. Do anyone who get the same problem as me got his/her situation cleared out ? Thanks in advance .

Brother as far as I know, unless you can obtain a Police Certificate from Dubai, the CIC will not give you PR.

Good question, and I'm sure many people from Dubai would have faced similar situation. In Dubai, this is a **criminal** offense (LOL), whereas in UK/Canada there is an option of declaring yourself bankrupt and you're not sent to Jail for that. I would recommend if you speak to Visa Office (Note: Visa office is different than embassy or consulate) and speak to them on this issue. Try searching in FAQs - under police certificate subjects.

I left UK with loans and I never declare myself bankrupt. I got the Police report about a year ago when I applied for PR..... what do you think about this..... will there be any problem for me?

Try and get PCC from Dubai first and see how it goes.
Even if your successful, the bank must have sent your name to interpol.....and you can be stopped at any point.
but if the bank has not sent your name to interpol and you get PCC, then you are a free man.....which i doubt.

They did'nt send my name to Interpool and the ammount is not huge..they did just reveal cases against me in police station and I did contact police there to get the PCC nad they told me I can just get it only if I clear out my issues with banks not before that..the issue that I don't have the requested ammount...

will you plz guide if someone have some loan and he didnt mention in original application filed...i mean in liability head.....does it effect the application...though the loan instalment is going regulary...thanks..
