DUAL STATUS! Very Critical Situation! What to do??

Very Critical situation!

My work permit is getting expired within 2 weeks and I have applied for PNP 9 months back, I have just received an acknowledgement letter from PNP and not a nomination yet so I’m planning to apply for a Visitor visa to maintain my legal status.

So the question is what If I apply for visitor visa now and meantime if I get my nomination letter before my work permit gets expired??

Can I apply for an extension of my work permit as well, in this case because I have already applied for a visitor visa. there will be two application and what about the status ?? What will be my status if my Visitor visa is approved ??

Yes you can, you'll be in implied status, wp processing time is around 100 days and visitor is more. So you'll get rejection for wp because you dont have lmia and then you'll just wait for visitor.
The only thing is that I'm not sure did you have to do it in same time....
