I was wondering if there is any information on how are the chances for one to get a study permit claiming dual intention.
I find myself in a pickle right now and that is why I want to know what are my chance and what to do exactly.
I am a 30 years old Iranian female currently residing in South Korea. I've been in the EE pool for about a year but I don't see that going anywhere.
I have a BA Spanish Language from Iran
MA Mass Com from Korea
1 year and a half work experience as a social media community manager in Korea.
I'm looking into getting a practical nursing diploma somewhere in BC. (I'm actually looking to change my career and was initially was hoping to study practical nursing after getting a PR.) I hate the jobs that are available to me with my current degree. My father has a private practice back home and so pursuing nursing is something I am excited about.
Now I feel my situation is a minefield. I already live outside of home, I'm going for a diploma while I have an MA and I have to apply under dual intent. (and apparently about 50% of Iranian students are denied while 4% of South Korean students get denied. Will that mean applying to Canadian embassy in Korea is a better option?)
So what do you think are my chances? And what are your suggestions?
P.S. I have two properties under my name back home and my family lives there as well.
