Dual citizenship (UK/NZ) ... Can I apply for 2 IEC visas consecutively?

Hi!

I've been trying to find this information on the website and by calling, but to no avail. I hope someone can help me here!

I have dual citizenship with NZ and UK. I'm currently on a working holiday visa with my NZ passport.

-can I now apply for a visa with my British passport after having used my NZ one?
-if I also apply for an extension of my NZ visa, can I do this at the same time? Will it jeopardise either application?

I have actually begun the process for a Canadian visa with my British passport but have yet to be invited to apply. Given that I currently live in Canada it looks as if I am re-applying, will this affect my eligiblity to be invited? I presume they will have it on record that I have not applied with that citizenship.

Also, there is a question "have you participated in IEC Canada before?" Which I obviously have, but again with my NZ citizenship. How would I answer that? I don't want to lie obviously, so how do I answer ?? I think it might seem obvious but I get so stressed out with things like this.

Thanks for any help!!

1. That loophole has been closed. Once you have hit the maximum, New Zealand, 23 months, 1 time.
2. It doesn't matter, you have to answer yes, as you have participated.

Gracennabach you need to be a little careful using your dual Passport interchangeably for single purpose because, it could be misconstrued as an intention to gain undue advantage. While you have the right to use any of your paasport to apply for any type of the Canadian visa's,I will advice you consistently use same passport for all your applications.

Thanks!

I have a one year NZ visa, I applied before it changed, does that make a difference do you think?

And thanks for your advice, I am dubious about using both passports but I don't think there is a way I can be "a little careful"... I use them both, or I don't. Aside from here, does anyone know of a place I can call for advice on matters like this? Using both passports would be to my advantage but I don't want to do anything untoward or illegal.

Yep I did. Make sure you add both passports in your application and say 'yes' to 'have you participated before, giving details (full disclosure and all that), as well as police reports from both countries. Getting a police report from UK took some time and money, but I did apply from Canada.

About month or so later I received a denial letter and then a contradicting approval letter 10 minutes later... and then an 'ignore the denial letter'. Other than that no problem with the re-application.
