Dual Citizenship for unborn baby

Hello,
I am a Canadian citizen living in the UK with my British wife.
We will be having a baby in January and I wanted to begin looking into the dual citizenship for our baby.
Any information on how to proceed, where to start or if this is to be done after the baby is born would be greatly appreciated.
