I met my British husband in Canada where I am a permanent resident. We got married in the UK and stayed in the UK until I got my UK citizenship. We now have a 3 yr old child and we would like to move to Canada.

My question is as my PR status was granted while I was not yet a dual citizen, and my old passport has since expired will there be a problem if I enter using my UK passport and then stay in Canada by virtue of my PR status?

If you haven't maintained your PR status in Canada by remaining for 2 years in every 5 year period, I am afraid you are no longer a PR. You speak of dual citizenship, I assume it is not Canada and the UK.

Yeah, then it sounds like you're no longer a permanent resident unless your husband is Canadian.
