Dear all,

My friend was studying a course in one of the SPP college and he dropped the course in between and he got a new admission on an another college. But the first college is insisting him to pay $2000 for administrative fees. Although he has paid his first semester fees. Still they are insisting him to pay the $2000.

So is it mandatory to pay this fees? Will it affect his study permit of his PR application? :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[

Assume your friend read the small print when they accepted an offer from the first college where it probably highlighted any fees for dropping out of a course and your friend signed up for the terms and conditions.

In theory the first college could report as no attendance to CIC and in theory this could result in study permit being cancelled, others can comment on this as is only a theory. Has your friend notified CIC of a change of course/college ? Out of interest which college / course is involved asking for the fee ?
