Driving License?

Hi,

I hope its the right section to post this. I dont have a driving license from my country, never had one, never passed the test. Can i still get it in Canada if i go there to study? Or do i need to already have one from my country?

Yes why not. But do not expect to get a license the very next day once you land.
You normally have to write a test post which you are given a license which allows you to learn the driving.
You learn with this license for some time (around a year) post which you give a road test and your license is upgraded.
There might be certain variations to this process across different provinces, but overall this is how things proceed.

The first 8-12 months you won't be allowed to drive without a licensed driver in the car with you.

Yes you can get it. First you have to clear written test in canada after that road test.
