i sent my application n as i alone gathered 67 points did not include my spouse n kids...incase my appl gets processed n i get visa what will be the process to include my family too???
will i have to go first n then call them or how will it work???

I thing u have made a very big mistake..as they have clearly mentioned to include ur family members or else u wldnt be able to invite them later. i wonder if u hv filled the additional family information form...hv u mentioned ur family there...cz its compulsory...if in case if u have mentioned ur family in this form then yes u can sponsor them later if u ll get through.

If the visa is processed without your wife and children - and then you land in Canada with that visa - you will NEVER be able to sponsor them. In addition, because you failed to declare them before landing, you will be committing misrepresentation (lying) which could result in your PR status being revoked. You must update your application as soon as possible to include you wife and children. There is no other option available to you.

I know its harsh.....but its very very wrong on ur part to not include ur wife and kids.

no no i have filled in all the details of my spouse n spouse family details aswell n kids too....jus that v didnt wanna lock too much money in showing dunda etc v didnt include them n wat my consultant told was once i get pr they will automatically b eligible..,v have sent marriage cert as well with form

so now still will there b problem?.?

also if i get pr then i will have to go to can n then sponser them or can i b in my home country n do it...

iam already confused on many things as i think my consultant has taken me fora ride

its so usual at tis forum to see consultants messing up PR applications......does ur consultant even know immigration rules.......it won't be even 1 bit easy to call ur family out ther on PR....frm wt I know it would indeed be more difficult.

it was such an easy case to include ur family members along wid u.......being a PA if u got visa they would get it as well.

only seniors can comment sumthin on tis now....indeed he has taken u fr a ride

I sympathize wid u.......but really the consultants I guess only want money frm applicants.

I'm not sure but can't u provide the settlement funds for ur family as well......write a letter to the VO and let them know that due to personal reasons u didn't want to include ur family first but now u want to include them in the appln

Even if your wife and children are not accompaying you to Canada, you must still be able to show sufficient funds in your bank account to cover all of you. If you only showed sufficient funds to cover yourself and not the rest of your family - then you're likely looking at a refusal for insufficient funds.

hey crook,
yes if u hv mentioned ur family in ur application then u can sponsor them later. i think thr are two additional forms for family additional family information form nd the other is dependants something...if u hv filled them..additionally u need to submit thr PCCs..but dont worry they can be submitted later as well...so its ok if u hv mentioned them...u dont hv to be worry bout if ur consultant has misguided u...cz u can read it all in the guide they have mentioned on the cic website with the form....if u hvnt applied for ur family yet then u just hv to show funds required for u at the moment. one more thing ,they ll be eligible to apply if u get through to PR...but it doesnt mean they get the PR automatically....u wld hv to follow the sponsor procedure nd they ll go through medical.
