doubt regarding gic and education loan...

Hi guys....im planning to take education loan for my studies in canada.....as per sbi education loan guide lines, they will provide loan for only tution fee, air fare cost and some other miscellaneous things....then what abt gic? Actually is gic is a must for university category applicants from india? Anybody of u took loan for gic also?

GIC is mandatory only for SPP applicants!

Hi Guys,

I want to wire the GIC funds with a different account (Not the one I mentioned in Scotia Bank application form) since its been inactive fr some reason.

What is the procedure if i want to transfer the funds from a different account (My own bank account)? Do i need to update the bank details with the Scotia Bank or i just can proceed with the Wire transfer ?

Please Help.
