Doubt: Regarding document provided: New Delhi CHC

Hi,

I have sent all my documents to New Delhi CHC on 12th Aug 09. Now in my Work Exp, I have also worked Part time for 2 years and in the reference letters, My employer had written very few i.e. 2 - 3 duties in the letter but I performed more and my employer can write more, its just I though it would be sufficient.

As per the NOC mentioned, I have written very few duties.

Now my file should be opened for processing during this month only, as per the timeline on the blog. What should I do ?
- Should I send a new letter from my employer stating more duties ?
- Or should I wait for CHC to reply back ?

My worry is that my part work experience also falls under Skill Type 0,A & B so the duties mentioned in the letter it will be difficult for them to consider it and I have considered my part time work exp only in order to count it so that I am eligible for FSW-1.

Please Guide me. Require your assistance urgently as I do not have much of time.

You should have allowed him to write more duties you performed if he willing to earlier. Anyway it's not too late maybe you should get him to give an addendum which you can mail to the visa office quickly.

I have asked my employer to give me a revised letter and I am planning it to send it by today only since weekend is coming and next week they might open my file and I do not want them to analyse my case as per the old letter.

Is it a good idea to send the revised letter what to you say

If I were in your position, i would get a revised letter from the employer, write an explanation to the Visa office and RUSH it ASAP with no second thoughts..!!

Thanks for the suggestion. I have sent the packet yesterday on priority and it should get delivered before 10.30am today. Can anyone tell me that CHC is not working on weekends and would like to know would they accept the packet as postage or not.

Or will they take it only on Monday to Friday.

You have 120 days from the date of this letter to prepare and submit these forms and supporting
documentation. If your full application is not received within this time, we will assume you are no longer
interested in immigrating to Canada and we will close your file. Documents must be submitted in a
SINGLE package. Do not submit any documents until you have prepared the entire package. We will
make a decision on your application on the basis of the documents you provide at that time.

Now kindly tell me, I sent my full application to CHC New Delhi on 12th Aug 09 and Status Changed to Rec by Visa Office. Now I have sent a revised reference letter from my employer on 9th Oct 09 which CHC New Delhi Received at 10th Oct 09. Will they consider my revised document, any one on this, who has been in similar situation, kindly suggest

Honestly I haven't been in your situation although I think you are still safe. Your application is complete and it was received at the right time however you are only providing additional information. Since they have not made a decision on your application yet, the new information can still be accepted.

I have been in a similar situation (ie. one extra document was added later on). Don't worry they will add it. I hope you have included your case file number in the envelope of the new letter.

BTW Rocky, we being from South Asia, are accustomed to government officials who will do everything possible to put u down. But that is not the case with Canadian immigration officials. As much as possible, they will try to help u and be favorable to you. That is my personal experience.

Thanks man. I am expecting a status change or they will start processing my file probably next or next to next week. Usually it takes 2 days for the package to reach to the right place at the embassy (As per my experience). I hope once they open my file they already have the other packet as well.
