Hello All,
We are filling post ITA forms for my sister. We have following doubts, kindly clarify.
1. My sister had only first name on all documents until finishing her Bachelor's Degree and then she added surname to her name. Now in all her documents, like education after Bachelor degree, all ID proofs including passport she has last name as well as first name. Will this be considered name change or not?
2. To claim sibling points can we show just our (Indian) passports containing our parents name or is it mandatory to provide birth certificates. We both have got birth certificates issued but again the issue is that on her birth certificate she has only first name but on passport and other documents she has got both first as well as last name and even birth certificates would need to be translated as they are written (handwritten) in Punjabi with stamps in English.
3. PCC :: She is resident of Punjab. She got PCC from PSK. Do we need to submit PCC from SSP office as well. PS- We changed address 4 years ago but within the same city under same police station.
Any help in this regard will be appreciated.
