I’m filling up form 1295 for Canadian work permit and have a doubt on background information section 2.b
We( Me and my spouse) are Indian citizen working in USA in H1B. Last year we were returning from Niagara(USA) and GPS took us in wrong route to Canada. Since it was a one-way road, we had to go till the Canadian border where we explained our situation. We didn’t even had our passports with us. After verifying our IDs ( mostly DL or state Id), the officer told us it’s common and based on GPS, our shortest route is through Canada . He issued us a document(entry denied ) so that we can enter back through US border. That document was taken from us at US border, so we don’t have the details mentioned there.
Question is, do I need to mention the answer as Yes in 2.b of form 1295? And how to explain this in that short box? Our passport details are not recorded there. So they might not be able to verify the incident. We don’t have the document, so what reason(lack of doc/no visa etc) was mentioned, i’m not sure.
