Hello everyone,

I have a doubt please clearify. If the company has been closed and the reference letter we have obtained from the HR manager who verifies the employment. Do we still need to submit a companies profile showing it has been closed. The reference letter is on a paper, shows all duties and responsibilities and has been notarized by the manager. How do we explain this situation?

Pls let me know

If the company is closed that means it was your previous employer. IRCC demands an official reference letter printed on the company letterhead with its valid address and email address. While doing the eligibility tests they do the web search for the mentioned employer and may even try to contact them. You should mention at least one person from that company, preferably your immediate senior, with his/her current business email address and contact info in your LOE so IRCC could verify your reference letter and the employer in future. Provide as many proofs as you can for that company including pay stubs, joining letter, experience letter etc, don't let IRCC do all the work.
