doubt about yhe refusal papers of other country

hi
i had applied under fsw category and my wife had previously applied for a student visa to ukl and got refused. i had mentioned this to cio application and has also got approval now when applying to new delhi is it mandatory to provide the refusal letter given by the uk high com. as my wife had lost her old passport and some of the documents with a file i dont have the paper to submit . will this b a problem plz help
