Doubt about rejection..

Hello Sir, I am Sagar Mehta. I completed my masters in biomedical genetics in India. Now I applied to Centennial college in Food Science technology (Advanced diploma). I got offer letter. I am preparing for visa file now. Is there any chance of visa rejection in my case?? I am medically fit and gonna show about 9 lakhs of loan and 5 lakhs of income. My IELTS score overall is 7.0 not less than 6.5 in each module.. Is there any chance of rejection just because I have completed masters and going for Advanced diploma?? I am really confused. :(

Hi,

I do not think if there is any compatibility between yours prior studies in ‘Master in biomedical genetics’ and yours proposed course in ‘Food science and technology’.

Hi,

Sorry for the goof up. I was posting it by way of mobile phone. I guess something went wrong. :(

Anyway, in your case I am not sure if you can prove your candidature based on course selection. First you did a Master in Biomedical Genetics and now going for a Diploma (that's too in some other field). I am sorry to say but I think visa office may feel that you are desperate to enter Canada. And by all means you face a rejection.

Since you are a Master graduate so it's possible to find a relevant course at some University level. You better avoid consultants.

Sagar,

Enfiled is correct.. after masters how come one opt for the same level course.

after Masters i guess its PHD which is justified.

Atleast try to find the relevant course which matches with your previous course/qualification.

hope this helps.

And Enfiled is right about the cunsaltants.

They will misguide you if you gets confused/not focused.

They will seek for their 10% commision fees once you get there.
