double payment requested

hello Experts,

A year ago I applied for Canada Federal Skilled Worker Program and all my application procedures went normally and as requested I payed the fee of 490 CAD by filling my credit card information on the application form, later I have checked my account and noticed the appropriate amount of money was charged accordingly.

Now I am receiving an email, stating that it is my final chance to pay for Right of Permanent Residence Fee. and they did not provide a backward contact so I can request about it.

any ideas?

Hello there,

There are two fees which one need to pay - one at the time of application and second is before they stamp your passport with Canadian permanent residency.

The second fee is the final fee they are asking you. Better pay it as soon as possible before it will be too late.

IIRC, the application fee was 550$, & the ROPR fee 490$.

did you pay the application fee as well as the ROPR fee? If so, you need to call/send a case specific enquiry (include your payment proofs). If not, you need to pay ASAP.
