Hi,
I have a question to anyone who have taken the general IELTs. I have been practising cambridge's IELTS practice tests and I feel slightly concerned about the reading section.
My concern is that I don't necessarily agree with the answers in the answer key. Even after tallying my answers with those in the key, I still feel like my answers (the incorrect ones) are in fact correct. I feel like the answers in the key are not consistent as to what is expected from the examinee. For example, in one instance we are supposed to answer based on what is being implied in the text. But, in another instance if we answer based on what is being implied, the answer is marked incorrect! So, what is the correct way of answering? Should I read in between the lines or not for the actual exam? Has anybody experienced this problem?
Please share your experience and any advice you may have for me!
