Done with Med. Exam, got AIP letter. Open work permit?

Just got my medical exam done today, chest x-ray and all that. Got my letter saying I meet the eligibility requirements for PR under the Family Class and that I can now apply for an open work permit.

I've seen on here to wait to apply 1-3 months until they have the results of my medical exams processed to apply for an OWP, just looking for some clarification.

Also, I wanted to start on the paperwork for the open work permit but can't seem to find what forms/packets to fill out? Any help?

My PR was filed inland, as I'm living here with my common law partner/sponsor. Living in Ontario.

No, you don't have to wait to apply for the OWP. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/extend-worker.asp

As mentioned, you don't need to wait to submit your OWP app. In fact you qualified for and could have submitted the OWP app a year ago. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/updates/2014/2014-12-22.asp

Since you're in Ontario, I think with AIP you also now qualify for OHIP.
