I was working for a company for 9 months as a casual employee and they finally offered me a permanent position so i asked them if they can fill out the employer section of BCPNP forms but they replied by saying "ALS does not participate in the provincial nominee program as we are able to fill our staffing needs in the local labour market and, therefore, cannot fulfill the requirements set out in bullet #5 on page 51 (meet domestic labour market recruitment requirements)." .
Now Is there anything i can do or do i need to find another employer?
What exactly does these requirement means, it also says in the guide that it is considered met if i am working on a valid work permit for 30+ hours a week which i am adhering to.
