Does work experience count for Work Permit extension delays

Hi,

I came to Canada January 2010. My initial workpermit expried on Dec 2010.
I applied for work permit extension on Nov 2010, but due some delays I got workpermit extension on March 2011 and I was working in Canada during that time.
Does 3 months(Jan-March) can be considered as valid experience for applying PR?
