Does work experience before graduation count ?

Hi, So I started doing my first full time paid job outside Canada (from aug 2016 - Mar 2017) while I was in the last semester of my Bachelor's degree and obtained my degree on the 1st of November 2016 (graduation held in March 2017). Does this work experience count under Express Entry as I started doing it while still reading for my Bachelor's ?

Any clarification would be greatly appreciated !

As long the work experience accrued is not Canadian while you were not in Canada and paid, it can be counted under EE. However, you will still need to obtain a reference letter in the requisite format.
