Hi, Msafiri, Leon, Zardoz and experts...

Thanks for your comments, on my earlier posts.

Do you think, the following case qualify for issue of a PRTD from Abu Dhabi office for following case:

Home maker, 800 days of residence in last 3 years, PR card expired last year.

Proof of residence :
1. Passport stamps,
2. Child school transcripts for last 3 years
3. Name on the apartment lease papers
4. Drivers License - only G1
5. Attendance at LINC
6. Attendance at community programs

Passport has valid (but non-employment) residency of Abu-Dhabi.

Current status: PR renewal application submitted with 735 days of residency with urgent processing request., 2 months ago.

Regards.

Not sure that I understand your maths...

If it was 735 days a couple of months ago, how is it now 800 days but a PRTD is required?

Are you anticipating leaving Canada without a PR card and hoping that a PRTD will be available?

Yes, 735 days when PR renewal application was submitted. Leaving Canada for 4 weeks, without PR.

It will be 800+ when PRTD will be applied from AbuDhabi. Please comment.

OK, I understand. Yes, you should be OK as long as you take all the proof of compliance that you can.
What I am concerned about is that it has already been 2 months after you requested "urgent" processing.
Unless you made the request very recently, it makes me wonder if there might be an issue with your PR card renewal.
I would not leave Canada until you know exactly what is happening to your renewal and why it's delayed.
At the moment, in Canada, you are safe... Time to call CIC?

Calling CIC is of no use - the same old answer - in process, in Sydney office, reviewing, additional review and they do not know how much time it takes and .....if you want to travel, then you need to apply for PRTD abroad. ...

If CIC - Canada itself takes so much time for reviewing my 'meeting residency requirements' - then I am hopeless with CIC office abroad to be any better than that.

Any comments?

Thanks.

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
1. I gave my 2 cents here and I'll stick with it. TD issuance depends on the visa officer processing your case and how they decide to review your evidence. IMHO the only solid proof is full time employment in a reputable company that requires you to show up for at least 40 hours a week...we've seen on this forum CIC disregarding LINC courses, community courses etc. CIC doesn't always trust the 'record keeping' of such places some of which have an incentive via their funding to ensure your daily/ regular attendance however accurate this or may not be.

2. The ME visa posts play hard ball.....too many PRs enjoying (which is within their rights) the financial benefits of working in the ME and anectodal evidence as well as case law including this recent decision shows many RO issues emanate from the region...check this section of the forum and see how many PRs live in the ME that always angle with 'how do I get in without being reported'. My take is that the ME visa posts even when the application is on the balance just deny it and you deal with the appeal.

3. Must you go to the ME now? Is it worth risking your PR?
