Does the work experience shown have to be continuous?

Hello all,
I currently have a TOTAL of 2 year work experience, however it is not continuous and is split up. So I had a full time job for 4 months in the summer of 2009, 2010, and 2011. I then worked continuously for 1 year.
The first part does come up to a total of 12 months.
Is there any such requirement to have continuous work experience or will I be able to claim the points for 2 year work experience given my situation?

Thank you,

Found this on CIC's express entry webpage:

Notice: A technical amendment has been made to sections 15, 19 and 25 of the Ministerial Instructions for the Express Entry Application Management System.
Paragraphs 15(3)(b) and 19(4)(b) were modified to remove the requirement that Canadian work experience be continuous for determining points under the Comprehensive Ranking System for the candidate, spouse or common-law partner.

However I forgot to mention the 4 months experience in 2009, 2010 and 2011 is foreign work experience, not Canadian
