Does the travel authorization for COVID exception letter have an expiry date?

I'm in Vancouver on a work permit and my wife who has a visitor visa is in Colombia (South America). We want to reunify after 1 year of not seeing each other.

I'm planning to request a travel exception letter for her. Supposing we obtain it, would that letter have an expiration date?

We don't have a specific travel date for her right now, given the whole covid situation.
