Does the spouse need to land in Canada, first thing after getting PR?

Hi guys, a quick question. My spouse recently got Permanent Residence. We are planning to do our honeymoon in Europe and would ideally want to meet there instead of her coming all the way to Toronto and flying from here.

Is that a good idea? Or does she need to land in Canada first after getting her Permanent Residence?

You can meet in Europe and then fly back together for her landing.

Of course, she needs to land before the expiry of her COPR, which is typically one year after her medicals.
