Does the sponsor need to notify CIC of a surname change?

So, my husband's landing appointment is next week (yay!), and I wanted to wait until he became a PR before changing my last name. Do I need to notify CIC once I assume my husband's last name? What is the process if I do? I can't seem to find any information on this.
