Does the province see the job opportunities in it's area for dependent

Hi,

I have placed my wife as primary applicant and myself as dependent for applying for Express entry as her calculated score was higher from mine. Now, since she is primary applicant province will see if there are opportunities for her in it's area. Do they see the opportunities for dependent also? Kindly guide me please.
