Hello everyone.... I have a complicated question to ask: I am putting the facts in bullet points below:

- I am an EE applicant, currently at IP2 stage and waiting for PPR
- I am the PA and living in Bangladesh where as my wife (DA) is living in Canada with study permit currently
- My wife is planning to visit Bangladesh in Nov end this year

My question is: Consider that the PPR comes once she is in Bangladesh, we submit passports in the local VAC together and get the VISA stamped on our passports.
What happens, If I am not able to accompany her to Canada right away? Will the Study Permit Visa in her passport still remain valid alongside the PR Visa? Will she be able to go back to Canada with her Study permit? or the study permit will become Null & Void if she receives the PR visa in her passport? and wont be able to go to Canada by herself since she is the Dependent Applicant in the PR application. Note that, she is yet to complete her studies in Canada.

Expecting response from the experienced ones with similar situation, please.

The TRV and study permit will be nullified once she makes her landing as PR. She can enter on her TRV/study permit first and defer her PR landing (can be done at the border or IRCC office after you do yours). She just has to let the officer know she’s entering on her study permit.

Not really that complicated. You can search this forum for several similar cases.

Might seem obvious but just to add that the OP should keep in mind the validity or the COPR/ Medical when issued and ensure as the PA they land whilst still valid and spouse does same either together with the OP or after the OP has landed even if her studies are not complete at the time.

Thanks.
There is just one more thing I need to ask. While submission of the EE application, I have mentioned my wife's Canadian Address. So, as I mentioned, when she visits Bangladesh and consider that we get PPR at that time, if she submits the passport in Bangladesh local VAC, will she has to submit any document other than the regular ones e.g. appendix B and photos? I am asking this because in the application her Canadian Address is mentioned, so is it the case that she is supposed to submit her passport in Ottawa?
It will be really helpful, if u can clarify my confusion.

You have to email CPC Ottawa after you get PPR and request for your wife to be able to submit in Bangladesh. They will give further instructions and requirements.
