Does the CIC office resend your passport for doing the medical

my doubt is in case they request me for a medical what id proof do I take with me?
Since my passport is with VFS which is gone to new delhi

Are u an applicant from India? If yes, then your pan card, adhar card(photocopies and originals to verify) and photo copies of passport!! All three were asked from me . Passport wasn't returned to me for the med test.
