Hi guys,
Some questions:
1. You know for the sponsorship process, how sometimes the foreign spouse gets interviewed by the CIC? Is this done over the phone, or would they ask us to travel to the city where the interview takes place?
For example: once I marry my girlfriend (she's Brazilian) and then start the sponsorship process (we will do it outland), if she were required to do an interview, probably it's the São Paulo visa office that will interview her.
But she lives in a city about 3 hour flight from São Paulo, so most likely would they just interview her over the phone or ask her to come to São Paulo no matter what?
2. Under what circumstances would the CIC request for an interview? Is it when they have doubt about the relationship? Or do they just do it randomly?
What are the typical questions during the interview?
Thanks!!
