Does the canadian university or the visa office call the previous university

Hi Friends,

My brother is gonna apply to do his MSc in a Canadian University. He has done a BSc in Computer Science, but the institute he studied has been closed. Does visa canadian university he's applying for or the visa office call the previous university to verify his BSc degree at any point? If they do, what are the steps he can take to make things right?

Yes they check it, and there is nothing you can do to avoid it.
There must be some governing body in your country who is governing universities. I suggest you contact them and seek their assistance, normally in these cases a governing body can issue you some kinda certificate that can verify your university was a valid degree awarding body at the time when you were enrolled.

So you submit a fake document, you get caught, 2 year ban for misrepresentation.
