Does specific NOC matters in EE

Hi my question is that back in time before EE, Canada would accept applications from few of the NOC as per requirement.
Now does in EE it matters what NOC you select as I will be creating a profile for EE and have 2 options for NOC. Now as per old FSW option 1 never opened for application, but option 2 did. My job profile matches a lot with Option 1 than option 2.
Any info on this?

As long as it's skill level 0, A or B, you are good.
Make sure you choose the most suitable NOC that matches with your work experience, otherwise your application could be rejected
