Hi,
I am from India and I have been planning to apply for express entry from an year ago and I started the process only now. Currently I am waiting for my ECA.
When I discussed my immigration plans with my father, especially the proof of funds requirements. He transferred about CAD 13000 into my savings account (six months back). I am a single guy and that amount will cover the POF requirements. I am also depositing small amounts into that account monthly. If everything goes well, I may get ITA in a few months.
I have read in different threads that you need to give a statement of 6 months to prove your POF or Gift deed proof if you have a sudden increase in your account balance.
I have been working for only 3 years now as a Software Engineer, with an average salary. It will be evident from my salary and my own deposits into the account, that I haven't saved up that much.
By the time I get ITA, it may be an year after my father deposited the money.
Will a statement of six months be enough for me or do I need to show the Gift deed proof ?
