Does proof of fund before ITA and post ITA have to be the same?

Hi guys,

A question on behalf of a friend regarding proof of fund. He received a FSW ITA and He is currently filling his application.Just wondering if he can put the funds to 0 instead of 12000$ (He was eligible for both CEC so he will just have to show his bank statement and pay stubs? Also do we have to show credit card 6 months balance even if it is with a different bank than the main check account?

Your friend got an FSW ITA, so he needs to show proof of funds in the amount specified on CIC's website unless he has an LMIA job offer AND is currently working legally in Canada. If he is working in Canada on an open work permit, it is POSSIBLE he can just show his T4 and NoA. We are waiting for someone to report that they did that and got approved. If he is outside Canada, he needs to show the correct amount of money.

1)Does anybody here on the forum, working in Canada and on the final stage of the process can confirm the following that CIC will consider FSW people with a permanent job if they attach T4, NOA and the bank account showing regular income?

2)Also, Do we have to show credit card 6 months balance even if it is with a different bank than the main check account
