If I am approved by one of the PNP programs and move with my spouse to that province, am I required to apply or interview for a certain number of jobs to maintain my PNP?

If I don't receive any job offers or I decide not to accept any job offers after a certain length of time, can my spouse and I still apply for citizenship after 3 years of living there?

I expect to be successful in finding employment in Canada, but if we are frugal, we have enough savings to live self-sufficiently. Are there specific employment requirements?

1. No you move to that province. If you have the funds, you don't even need to work.
2. Employment has nothing to do with citizenship. You have to reside in Canada and meet residency requirements.
3. Don't know what you mean about employment requirements. You need work experience to get a nomination and a job.

I believe you have already answered my question regarding employment requirements. I was worried that if I'm approved for a PNP in a province based on my work experience, then I might be required and limited to only obtain employment specifically in that field. I was unsure what would happen if I find a job in other occupation or perhaps not at all.

I thought there might be some sort of provincial workforce commision that monitors those granted PR based on the PNP in their province and would require working with them to obtain employment or job seeking counseling.

I also wondered how not finding work would affect our eligibility to remain there on my PR and seek citizenship in the future. Based on your first answer, I'll assume I don't need to worry about any of those concerns at all, since you state that I don't even need to work to maintain my PR status.

Thank you for your quick reply!

May I ask which province you are eligible for?
