I have received a nomination letter from the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) through the Express Entry system. I have already applied for permanent residency (PR), but my work permit is set to expire in four months. Therefore, I would like to apply for a work permit to ensure continuity in my employment. I underwent a medical examination in July 2022, but now there is a question asking if I have had an Immigration Medical Examination (IME) within the past 12 months, which I have not. I am unsure of how to answer this question.
1. Should I undergo another IME before applying for a Bridging Open Work Permit (BOWP) or is it for foreign nationals who are outside of Canada?
2. I have applied PR under PNP through Express Entry and have received an AOR. Are Completeness Check and AOR both the same? On the website, they have mentioned I have to apply BOWP after the completeness check. Can I apply to BOWP using an AOR?
Thank you in advance.
