Hi!
Could you please help me determine if my position qualifies me for the CEC.
I am a senior project manager at a top Canadian furniture company, I am in charge of projects from the very request for quotation to the delivery of goods to our clients. I coordinate operations across 2 continents, with worldwide sales. I overview sales of over $10 million a year (and RfQs for probably ten times this amount), with projects ranging anywhere from $20,000 to $1,000,000. I only report to the VP of Operations and the CEO, and have the Design, Logistics, Engineering, and Supplier Departments report to me. I deal with present and prospective customers on a daily basis. I am also in charge of implementing a new total quality management system, and helping design a new software at the office (meaning, I'm helping the IT understand our needs and wants with the new software). I am salaried (note - not a sales job! it's a mix of operations/sales). I am a recent BBA graduate from a Canadian university.
Questions:
- how does this qualify me for CEC?
- do i have to wait all 3 years of my post-graduation work permit, or I can apply right after 1 year at this job;
- also, since I have an expired student visa, but a valid post-graduation work permit, what kind of visa do i have to apply for in order to leave Canada and be able to return (upcoming business trip)
Thank you so much for your help!
Best regards
