Hi All,
I am new here. I wonder if anyone can help me identify what counts as my skilled work experience.
My profession is NOC 4151 Psychologist. After graduating with my Ph.D., I was hired as a "Psychology Resident" for a year in the United States. During that period, I was basically working the same duties as a psychologist, the only difference is that I was not fully licensed and had supervision for an hour each week. Since then, I got licensed and started working a "Staff Psychologist" for the last 2.5 years for a different institution in the United States.
My question is, would I be able to count my "Psychology Resident" job as skilled work experience? This particular title was not listed on the NOC website, but it is very similar to "intern psychologist" to me. Just FYI, in my profession, one has to get a Ph.D., gain a few thousands of supervised experience after graduation, and take professional tests in order to be fully licensed.
Thanks in advance for your input.
