Does it need to be "general" while applying for PR

I am post grad work permmit holder and i am trying to appy for PR . Wont i be able to use my , Still valide IELTS test result (academic) ???

Or should i be taking a general test !!!

You must take General IELTS for PR.

If you submit Academic IELTS - your application could be rejected

Academic would be valid if you are going for study purpose. But if you are applying for PR you should take up general.
