hi when i received AOR the email was like below:

This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada under the Provincial Nominee Class.

Upon review of the information you have provided, your application is considered complete based upon the requirements of the Instructions and Regulation 10 of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA).

Your application has now been placed into processing.

it says: Your application has now been placed into processing. but my online status says only two lines:
we received your application on sep 2014
medical results have been received

this is just like format of AOR email or my application is in IP

Think of ECAS states (Application received, medicals received, In process, Decision Made etc.) as sort of milestones on your application processing. IN PROCESS is just a milestone - "Processing" is being done on your application, but this may not be not enough yet for your application to reach and be marked IN PROCESS.

The messages you see on your ECAS shows the application is being processed, just not up to the point to be "IN PROCESS".
Same with what is stated on the AoR - the application has been put into "processing", but this signifies only the beginning of the application processing flow.

AoRs from CIO will state that - it signifies that your application has been initially reviewed by the intake office, deemed complete, and will now be transferred/sent to another processing office (overseas or in Canada) for further "processing". For their (CIC/CIO) purposes, it has been sent into the queue of the processing office ("placed into processing") selected to handle your application.

The OP was asking if the statement in the AOR he received means his application is IN PROCESS.

I answered that think about eCAS states as milestones in the processing flow. The OP does not show IP in his eCAS, this is why he is asking if the statement in the AoR (as above) should mean his application is in IP?

So based on the OPs two lines in eCAS - it says: Your application has now been placed into processing. but my online status says only two lines:
we received your application on sep 2014
medical results have been received

Based on above - I ask you - can you state specifically if the OPs application is in IP?

So can you point out in my post specifically where it is wrong?

Are you thinking that the listing in my reply:
Think of ECAS states (Application received, medicals received, In process, Decision Made etc.)
are the strict sequence of progression what you see on ECAS? That is meant to be a general statement - so what is wrong about that?

Hi Ragluf I agree with you

But I have one conflation : some applicant timeline shows

IP : skipped
DM: xxxxxxx
PPR: xxxxxxx

So my question can it happen without IP DM
You know better than me that's I trust
I am just asking
