Does it makes sense to inquire to IRCC to schedule ceremony after a certain date?

AOR July 31st, 2023. All my stages are completed, except Ceremony is "Not Started". I am checking the pattern for July folks, it seems my Oath invite should come any day now. I have a trip to the US scheduled for Oct 16-22.

Does it make sense and do you think it would be helpful if I could give IRCC a heads up about this trip and ask to be scheduled for the ceremony after it? Thank you!

Let your application progress the way it is going. Interrupting it with such request may delay your application. IRCC may put it in a back-burner and then they will take months to look into it again.

Yes, I agree, that was my exact concern. Will take it one day at a time. Worst case, I'll message them about rescheduling after the invite. TY!
