Does it effect your EE application outcome if you have previous dues in Canada?

Hello people,
I had education and work history from Canada. However i returned back home for good. Now I have received my ITA, so just wondering if the debts i left back in canada more than 2 years ago could negatively effect my PR decision. Do I need anything if it actually makes a negative remark for my application?
Any help will be valuable.
