Hi to all expertise,

I really appreciated if you can answer my concern.
Does it affect my PR application if I stop working? But I already have 2 year work experience in 2 different NOC B job category(one year each)which are both qualified for PR application.

Im planning to apply for PR, but the time I submit my application. I will not be working....

Please share your trustworthy thoughts.

Thanks,
James

There is no requirement under the CEC program that you be employed, neither at the time of application nor throughout processing.

The only exception would be if you are claiming to have a valid job offer. If quit the employer after applying with a valid job offer, you would lose those points.

It's should be fine, however I recommend you to work a little bit more than 2 years to be sure the experience is fully counted, if you missed exactly 2 years for 1 day you won't get the points
