Does internship count as foreign work experience

Hi all,

i am planning to apply for Express Entry and I wanted to know if I can add my 1 year paid internship that I did during my bachelors back in india.

i did this as part of my degree and I was full time employed and worked for 40 hours a week, and had not studies at all.

any guidance will be appreciated.
