Hi all,

Do you advice hiring an attorney or a consultant for your EE application. Will a letter from them help make my case stronger?

No, having a lawyer doesn't make your case stronger. You either qualify or you don't.

Depends on your circumstances. Most people don't need one but I would advise a select few to. In my case I wasn't keen on the process and opted to use one. I discovered the forum later on which I am happy I did because I would have attempted it on my own which in hind sight would not have ended well. I would have messed up and end up getting my application rejected. Not saying the agents/lawyers can't mess up but I would rather take my chances with them. For me it was the best money spent even though they gave me a couple headaches through the process.

I got my PR visa on 90th day from the day I applied. If I had not used an agent I would have got My PR visa in Hand in 45 days.
They dont know know much about the process. They follow an excel doc to process applications.

Same experience for me. I received my ITA on October 18 and they never submitted my application until December 20 even though I gave them everything they needed on the 26th October. Even then it was money well spent as they were very thorough with my docs submitted and catch some things not mentioned here in the forum which would have caused my application to be rejected and given my CRS of 439 there was no room for error. I would still be waiting for the CRS to drop to receive an ITA had my application been rejected. Given the current trends I don't know when CRS will come down to 439.

People that hire attorneys for simple EE applications only help sustaining these leeches.
If your application is exceptionally complicated, get one. Otherwise, it is not rocket surgery.

No, it is not necessary but if your case is complicated it is better to get one.
I took one, but did not really help at all.
