Does ECAS still work in 2020?

called IRCC and all the agent could tell me is it's not important...smh

ECAS is still used for citizenship and some other kinds of applications, but not for Permanent residency applications (except for paper based, maybe). GCMS replaces ECAS for Express entry several years ago.

That's weird....some PR applicants are able to use it but I decided not to dwell on it. I am leaving the application now.
