Hello, my husband’s PR has just been approved, and he will be moving to Canada in a few months. He has some debt in India, and we are planning to negotiate a settlement (not filing for bankruptcy). Will this affect his landing or PR status in any way? Should we wait until after he has landed to proceed with the settlement, or is it fine to address it beforehand?
